New Works in an old setting……

We have been very busy over the Winter adding to our stock of stained glass, Richard has produced some stunning mirrors which are proving popular and I have been doing all manner of textile work,-crazy felt , wet felting and needle felt which I have made into some interesting book covers and books.So if you are in Cornwall come and visit the old town of Launceston and the Southgate Arch, Southgate Street, where you will find us surrounded by our works of art.

We are still here!

Three years at the Southgate Arch,and we are going to carry on for the forseeable future, after a little persuasion from the council and local customers.The shop and gallery are well stocked with our stained glass,Richards paintings and Heather’s textile creations.We are currently open on Friday and Saturday from 11am to 5pm.This will be extended nearer Easter.Meanwhile we will be working hard producing our large range of glass items for your delight. From Monday 8th April 2014 we will be open Monday,Tuesday,Friday and Saturday 11.00am-5.00pm.Look forward to meeting you.

Injecting new life into old stones,,,

From 15th July you can enjoy a very comprehensive show of our work at the Southgate in Southgate Street,  Launceston  showing original work in textiles and paintings, glasswork including stained glass as well as prints and poetry. Should be good…very good…..and is. So given a chance you should get to see it.

You will be very welcome  at the gallery which exhibits a range of our art and craft works., So  please come and enjoy a look around. 

 From 15th July we will be open on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 5pm.

Making an Exhbition of Ourselves (again!)

Yes, we’re at it again, showing off our Textiles, Paintings and Poetry.

This time in The Arts Gallery in Okehampton.

Then:

…..From the 5th March in the village of Blisland on the Western side of Bodmin Moor, a selection of original paintings and textiles at the Glebe Gallery in Blisland Post Office. This is a lovely area for a day out with good access to the moor as well as to the River Camel and a lovely time of the year to enjoy a breath of fresh-air.

 And then:

……from 18th April untill 2nd May a very comprehensive show of our work at the Alley Gallery in Launceston  showing original work in textiles and paintings, glasswork including stained glass as well as prints and poetry. Should be good…very good. So given a chance you should get to see it.

You will be very welcome  at the gallery which exhibits many other local art and craft works., So  please come and enjoy a look around. Welcome to the Future

ART IS THE EMPORER’S CLOTHES

This was an image of one view we had whilst parked in a car-park on Dartmoor and making a quick sketch to exhibit in our forthcoming exhibition. We have now moved on but may well return to that carpark as there were several, many other possible sketches available.

Heather also took a photo…How High Is The SkyWell, here we are with our new site. Let’s see how we get on with this one…
Hope you like the boat, we might change that with one of our own at some point down the line.

So, the main purpose of this site is to just have a point of contact out there on the Interweb, so please feel free to get in touch, contribute or just browse.
